skate journal: campus suck (dec 27, 2016 day 362)

Went to campus after dinner on a nice night in the upper 40s. I had some new shoes. Yes, stupid me bought some new vulcs since the Es shoes were so dead. I hated them immediately. NB# Pro Courts. I did a few slappy crooks in the meet up lot, then moved into campus and ended up at the long manual pad. It had some snow in spots, but the middle was good. I got manual in a few tries, nose manual in a few more tries. Was trying some other tricks when some janitor came out and said “I see kids going nuts here all of the time and I see you struggling to get up the curb”. Cool. Thanks dude. As if I wasn’t already burnt out and tired enough already. Tried a line of ollie off the ledge, flatground kickflip, then manual. And I didn’t even get it. I went to the banked ledge. Couldn’t even slappy 50 it. Had some fun mini bank rides though. Then I tried to do a few flippers, but couldn’t commit to fakie flip as I was too scared to commit. My side was hurting which is something happens when I skate vulcs. So I focused my board and left.
