skate journal: longmont park with a fun crew and a bunch of toddlers (jan 29, 2017 day 18)

Got out somewhat early Jake, Donnie and I rolled to Longmont park to meet Dave. It was incredibly nice out. The park had a lot of youth with parents sitting around. Jake and Donnie played on the noping qp. I was kind of out of it and in a daze so just pushed around not doing much. We all hit the little knob bank for awhile. Donnie had some tall ollies, Dave had pivot fakie and a lot more. Dave nose manualed the ledge. Jake had some easy 50s. I bailed noseslides. We skated flat for awhile. I did pretty good except for treflip which took a long time to get a terrible one. Donnie learned nollie frontside flips. He did 3 or 4 of them. Jake got treflip quickly. Dave had some nice switch front shoves. He also did a nice line rolling into the bank then doing front bigspin on the bank. Jake worked on back 5-0s. I joined on the ledge briefly and did some really slow front 50s and crook jibs. Donnie did some huge back 180s and a switch frontside flip over the back hip while avoiding a toddler using the bank as a slide. Parents can be so clueless. Dave got a nice back big over the hip. I posed frontside flips. I eventually tired out and hucked a few switch tres on flat that were not close at all.
