fuzz

Went to Broomfield park on a nice night. Rob was there first. Then a bunch of scooter kids and bikers. My knees were incredibly sore. I was trying PJ shoes with FP insoles to see if they would help. Nope. Rob was shredding already. Kickflips, nose manuals, back 50s, front boards, switch boardslides. Fuzz showed. Stoked. Fuzz coined Rob as “Robs Of Fire”. Now that’s a complement. After some warming up we all got first try kickflips. Fuzz struggled manualling the blue box, but no problems on the black box. He had some quick feet 180s up and halfcab off the blue box. We all mostly skated the blue box, quartapotty, black box, flat. There was a dude there doing some amazing flip tricks. Rick flips, fakie bs back heel, inward heel, nollie inward, really popped heelflips and he did heelflip and hardflip mannys first try. So sick. I struggled, but there were a few things that cheered me up. First try halfcab noseslide on the black box, crooks black box, and some noseslides on the brown ledge where I was actually posted up on it. I think we all got halfcab flips. Fuzz got heelflip, fakie 50 blue box, back 50 death defy the black box. After awhile Fuzz and Rob started trying ollie over the parking block to manual to shove out. Neither would get it. It was cool seeing Fuzz try so hard though. He was so close, but never quite got it. I love skating with those dudes even when I’m in pain and can hardly skate.
