skate journal: messing around at the school with ollie (sept 19, 2017)

After dinner Ollie and I skated over to the school. You know, like 20 feet or 1 push. We messed around in the basketball court area for awhile. Ollie did the step off hipping jump over a bunch which I can’t do. But I did come close to just doing a regular hippy jump which Ollie was impressed with. We did some skating while shooting hoops, some tricks, but nothing tech. We ended up in the back where I was pleased to see mini-tables being put together. We skated the super tiny bank. Ollie did his f/s halfcab and I did a kickflip. Ollie had gotten close to no comply 180s earlier on then started getting them. I filmed one. It was cool. I also did a wallie/nollie and then we bounced hitting the curb cuts a few times on the way out. I skated flat for a bit again. I didn’t land much, but I was happy trying.
