skate journal: short morning session at york (july 10, 2019)
After very little sleep we were up early to the York park since that’s where the family was going to pick me up. We were all sore and tired. Zoey joined us. She looks like she has a really fun time on a skateboard. It was cool. She had some side rocks, some board jump offs and stuff. Not sure how to write about it as they aren’t official olympic style tricks. Ha. Joe took a few tries to get a kickflip to fakie so I had to do it first try and rub it in his face. That’s about all I remember from me. Oh and kind of a frontside sal flip thing, but I had to go to tail. Eric’s trick is hard. Then my family showed and we were out. Well, they skated a little longer. Love seeing those dudes.
