After a fun morning of baseball and biking with the kids I met Rob, Fuzz, Brian, Neil, Jam and Gordon at Brian’s house.\u00a0 Rob, Neil and I played a couple game of SKATE that didn’t go so well.\u00a0 Especially when I attempted a frontside flip and the board bounced up and nailed me in the cheek.\u00a0 Ouch.The first stop was a school in Five Points where the Meta team was filming some tricks across a 3 and 4 stair thing.\u00a0 I dorked around for awhile and Brian and I had a game of curb SKATE on a weird triangular parking block.\u00a0 Brian did a ridiculous blunt pivot where he actually turned on the tranny of the 8″ tall curb.\u00a0 Ridiculous.\u00a0 I did a new trick for me.\u00a0 No comply to blunt bean plant out thing.\u00a0 Stupid sure.\u00a0 But fun yes.\u00a0 Next Neil, Fuzz, Rob, Gordon and I skated a 3 up 3 down.\u00a0 Man I haven’t skated stairs in forever and the thought of putting a kickflip down wasn’t happening.Next we ended up at the green playground spot I saw at the start of the Meta teaser<\/a>.\u00a0 The spot ended up being a blast.\u00a0 Fuzz ollied everything.\u00a0 Gordon played speed racer through it.\u00a0 Neil killed everything as usual.\u00a0 Rob’s got crazy rad tricks.\u00a0 Brian slams harder than anyone.\u00a0 Me, I suck, but I did put down a line on film I’m not completely bummed on.\u00a0 Jeff and the Meta dudes showed up after awhile and Jeff got a cameo trick for my part.\u00a0 Neato.\u00a0 Fun day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
