display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wKlP3-uGVAQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Up early trying to beat the rain I drove to NE Longmont to mee the Daves and Rob.\u00a0 We hit a weird flat bar spot.\u00a0 Wide round tubes with a rounded ending.\u00a0 We did some sweeping to warm up, some flatground and ollies.\u00a0 Boardslides started happening, noseslides.\u00a0 Then the rain started threatening.\u00a0 You could see the wall coming.\u00a0 We did a few group boardslides which was fun.\u00a0 Rob got sick halfcab\u00a0boardslides, noseslides.\u00a0 Dave F wallie 50 for the hammer of the session.\u00a0 Dave L almost front lip, but broke his board.\u00a0 I had the tiniest crook jib ever and as you can see the worst switch front board.\u00a0 I was motivated to try that for Jam since he did that trick so much.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dave F and I lurked for awhile, found a really sick bank spot then ended up at Rocky Mountain.\u00a0 It was wet, but the weird stair area below was mostly dry.\u00a0 We messed around on a really frustrating double ride on grind for awhile.\u00a0 I fell on my wrist and got mad.\u00a0 Oh yeah, I had switched from the 212s to 440s to avoid pain (it worked) but was taking some adjusting to.\u00a0 Then we skated flat at the basketball court.\u00a0 Initially we each had little section between puddles, but it would dry out and become mostly skateable.\u00a0 Dave started by hucking flippers like switch varial heel, nollie varial flip, then settled into kickflips and fakie flips.\u00a0 I tried to work my way through some &#8220;basics&#8221; in the new shoes.\u00a0 I got kickflip, fakie flip, halfcab\u00a0flip, heelflip.\u00a0 Couldn&#8217;t get fakie bigflip.\u00a0 Tried the Iron Man challenge starting with heelflip.\u00a0 I kind of got a treflip,\u00a0 It was bizarre though.\u00a0 The board only rotated as far as varial flip and somehow I stood on it and turned it forward.\u00a0 Then we skated the school as it had dried up.\u00a0 I was dead at this point.\u00a0 I had a fun run though of switch ollie up the curb then switch front nose the ledge.\u00a0 Dave was going for his back pivot switch crook down the median.\u00a0 I took a long time to get a line of nollie shove spin on the bank, manual a brick median, crook the ledge.\u00a0 I think i only did noseslide, but Dave said it was crooks so it counts.\u00a0 He did first try back 50 the ledge then struggled through getting another one.\u00a0 He almost had switch flip on the bump.\u00a0 He ollied the medians casually and was still skating when I left &#8211;
