Got up pretty early and picked up Riley to hit the new skatepark we’ve heard so many good things about.\u00a0 In some ways I was disappointed when I first arrived, but in others I was more impressed then I would have thought.\u00a0 It’s a great park.\u00a0 Look for photos here soon.\u00a0 I skated like crap all day.\u00a0 I was not confident on my skateboard and survived a few close calls with death on the stupidist stuff.\u00a0 Riley on the other hand destroyed that place.\u00a0 He skated the big 3 and did back bigspin, switch flip, switch heel (first try), switch front bigspin and something else I’m forgetting.\u00a0 It was so sick.\u00a0 About the only thing I did that was new for me was grind around a corner the hard way, when the curb is convex.\u00a0 Pretty fun.\u00a0 That park rules.\u00a0 I’d like to skate it again when I have more energy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
