{"id":1518,"date":"2010-02-09T23:16:23","date_gmt":"2010-02-09T23:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nullozinejr.com\/zine\/?p=1518"},"modified":"2010-02-09T23:16:23","modified_gmt":"2010-02-09T23:16:23","slug":"skate-journal-rampy-with-jake-feb-8-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nullozinejr.com\/zine\/2010\/02\/09\/skate-journal-rampy-with-jake-feb-8-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"skate journal: Rampy with Jake (Feb 8, 2010)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"640\" height=\"385\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/BmcDLGmlRp8&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><a href=\"http:\/\/excesszine.blogspot.com\/\">PJ<\/a> from Excess sent me a link to this clip early in the day and it got me really hyped to skate Rampy. \u00a0Then Jake called me and reserved an 8pm skate date and I got even more hyped. \u00a0Then Jake and I were standing on the deck of Rampy about to begin the session I won a Rho Sham Bo and the session was on. \u00a0I was all hyped to try tons of weird new tricks, but ended up taking forever to warmup. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0Early on I had some long-for-me boardslides to fakie. \u00a0Jake seemed to be ripping outta the gate. \u00a0He did a couple tricks I&#8217;ve never seen him do, but I forget what they are right now. \u00a0He started working on a line of switch back 50 (or maybe fakie back 50 to fakie), tail stall, back 5-0 to fakie, tail stall, back feeble 270 out. \u00a0He slammed really hard on one of the first switch 50s, but stuck with it and got the line.
