{"id":2066,"date":"2010-06-21T03:31:04","date_gmt":"2010-06-21T03:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nullozinejr.com\/zine\/?p=2066"},"modified":"2010-06-21T03:31:04","modified_gmt":"2010-06-21T03:31:04","slug":"skate-journal-back-in-boulder-with-jeff-bernie-and-mikey-june-19-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nullozinejr.com\/zine\/2010\/06\/21\/skate-journal-back-in-boulder-with-jeff-bernie-and-mikey-june-19-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"skate journal: Back in Boulder with Jeff, Bernie and Mikey (June 19, 2010)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Definitely feeling the effects of sitting in a car all day the day <a href=\"http:\/\/nullozinejr.com\/zine\/?p=2062\">before<\/a>. \u00a0Picked up the new Null wheels in the morning and they look good. \u00a0Helped clean for awhile then met up with Jeff, Bernie and Mikey at the Boulder park which wasn&#8217;t very crowded. \u00a0We started with a few games of SKATE. \u00a0I was the first one out in the first two, but the third game went well. \u00a0I got tricks like 3 flip, frontside halfcab flip, fakie var flip and more. \u00a0Jeff got to SKAT, but beat me. \u00a0Fun. \u00a0We cruised around the park for awhile and I was not skating well at all. \u00a0I tried a few backside kickflips on the flat bank and didn&#8217;t even get close. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0Jeff was destroying.We went to the Sussex ledge after that. \u00a0I tried to front 50 it, but didn&#8217;t get very close. \u00a0Mikey nollie nosegrinded it. \u00a0So sick. \u00a0Instead of just sitting around I skated other stuff at the spot like the little bump and the curb. \u00a0I had a run going of ollie the bump, slappy tailslide the curb to fakie then f\/s halfcab flip. \u00a0Never got them all. \u00a0Never quite got a f\/s flip over the bump either, but I got a second try no comply bigspin. \u00a0Skated pretty hard for how sore and tired I was.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Definitely feeling the effects of sitting in a car all day the day before. \u00a0Picked up the new Null wheels in the morning and they look good. \u00a0Helped clean for awhile then met up with Jeff, Bernie and Mikey at the Boulder park which wasn&#8217;t very crowded. \u00a0We started with a few games of SKATE.
