Brian, Nate, Jam, Travis and I headed out from IBM around 4pm on a super nice February day. \u00a0It was around 60. \u00a0Insane. \u00a0We arrived at Northside after sun had started going down. \u00a0Being my lame self I got frustrated right away even though I haven’t been skating much lately. \u00a0I tried manualling the MJ ledge and after only about 50 tries I got it. \u00a0The dark settled in real quick, too quick to document Brian’s hurricane season. \u00a0Travis, Brian and I messed around on the end of the jersey barrier for awhile. \u00a0Brian got a blunt fakie, Travis did a few rad front pivot crailish tricks. \u00a0I did a back pivot. \u00a0Whoopie. \u00a0Before leaving Nate and I played a pretty bad game of SKATE. \u00a0Nate put down a perfect nollie tre which I couldn’t get, but I somehow prevailed with all of my fakie flip tricks. \u00a0And once again, this is only because Nate is nice and doesn’t do all the tricks I can’t do. \u00a0Ie, everything switch and nollie with the exception of nollie tres.We hit Longmont park on the way back and it started off about as rad as it could with Jam rolling into the bank by the rail. \u00a0He was hyped. \u00a0We were hyped. \u00a0The session wasn’t so hot for me. \u00a0I had to promise myself no sex on Valentines Day if I couldn’t ollie flyout over a cone which I barely was able to do. \u00a0Whew! \u00a0Not much more went down except me slamming hard on a back 50 attempt until we went to leave and a couple games of SKATE came out. \u00a0The first one was between Brian, Nate, Travis and I and it was a whatever game meaning no complies were good, bonelesses, whatever. \u00a0I missed basically every single trick. \u00a0It was rough. \u00a0After Nate and I got out Brian went on to land a treflip backed with a front foot impossible then a back foot impossible and even his new trick for the night – front powerslide shove. \u00a0Sick! \u00a0Nate and I played a regular flip trick game that went on forever and somehow I won. \u00a0Neither of us could land a treflip to save our lives. \u00a0Ugh! \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
