{"id":2258,"date":"2010-08-11T22:17:36","date_gmt":"2010-08-11T22:17:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nullozinejr.com\/zine\/?p=2258"},"modified":"2010-08-11T22:17:36","modified_gmt":"2010-08-11T22:17:36","slug":"skate-journal-kotc-day-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nullozinejr.com\/zine\/2010\/08\/11\/skate-journal-kotc-day-1\/","title":{"rendered":"skate journal: kotc day #1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnarlycarleigh.com\/2010\/08\/kotc-2010-day-1.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"kickfrip\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/__udAs-LAziw\/TGDVz2Dnu3I\/AAAAAAAACwM\/EOntyGWrOtw\/s1600\/DSC_0563.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a>Oh man, where to begin. \u00a0Luckily <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnarlycarleigh.com\/2010\/08\/kotc-2010-day-1.html\">Carleigh already documented day 1<\/a> so I can just cheat off her. \u00a0The day started early after the dentist. \u00a0I picked up Jack and we went to the dentist 5 stair to try and pound out 5 stair tricks. \u00a0We got booted immediately. \u00a0Next up the 5 stair snoopy rail where Jack put down a few tricks and John and I wished we could skate stairs first thing in the morning.Next up we were in Loveland. \u00a0We first skated the crappy metal park because some points were had for skating the tall flat bar. \u00a0I noseslid it, Fuzz boardslid and feebled it. \u00a0We skated there for a bit before moving on to the main park where Fuzz, John, Brian, Chris, Daryl pounded out transition tricks and I sucked.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnarlycarleigh.com\/2010\/08\/kotc-2010-day-1.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"so funny\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/__udAs-LAziw\/TGDDqf_NzVI\/AAAAAAAACtc\/FFzbcddy1G0\/s1600\/DSC_0452.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a>On to the Loveland bank rail spot where I once again took forever to land a b\/s flip and everyone else ripped it up. \u00a0Daryl ollied up over the rail and over a chair. \u00a0Ridiculous. \u00a0Brian pulling Chris for the 50 point gap was hilarious.  We drove around and hit more spots for awhile filming.
