Super warm night. \u00a0T-shirt weather. \u00a0So awesome! \u00a0Jake picked me up around 8pm and we headed downtown. \u00a0My first few warm up ollies felt horrible. \u00a0Jake just pushed fast down a street and I was trying manauls and kickfips and stuff. \u00a0I catch up to him and he’s staring at me like a longboarder stares at you when they pass you. \u00a0Ha. \u00a0We went up into a parking garage and ollied this weird kicker. \u00a0Jake got it quickly, but it took me several tries and I got really frustrated. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0We rolled down the garage and that was fun. \u00a0I kickflipped at one point going a decent speed and ollied onto a manual pad going too fast and thought I was going to die. \u00a0Somehow I survived. \u00a0We kinda cruised around a few spots before settling on a lot of parking blocks. \u00a0Jake manned up and ollied over two blocks with a gap in the middle. \u00a0Pretty sick. \u00a0I attempted it, but can’t ollie. \u00a0I had a fun boardslide transfer and kickflipped a parking block a couple times. \u00a0I used to be able to kickflip parking blocks like they were nothing. \u00a0Now it takes more effort\/courage. \u00a0Ugh. Nate met up with us and added to the stoke. \u00a0He ollied the gap too. \u00a0Damn 20 year olds. \u00a0Ha. \u00a0Before leaving the parking blocks I tried a few b\/s feebles and hurricanes on a parking block. \u00a0I’ve never actually tried feebles before. \u00a0It wasn’t remotely close, but it felt cool to try it. \u00a0Next up was a game of SKATE on Pearl. \u00a0Things were going pretty good until I did a 360 flip first try out of turn and then hurt my foot trying to do another one. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0I hit the bone in my foot I think I fractured a bit last year. \u00a0Hope it heals up before SF!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
