Slightly tired from the night before we felt like something different and Nate had the idea to hit Nederland. \u00a0So we were off on a nice mountain drive to a little place called Aspen, mmm, California. \u00a0 Dumb and Dumber quote. \u00a0Dumb. \u00a0Anyways the park is pretty fun. \u00a0It would be much funner without annoying high school kids that think they are way better than they are. \u00a0Seriously two dudes spent the whole time we were there trying treflips up a stepup that they couldn’t even ollie cleanly. \u00a0But we got our skate on and it was fun. \u00a0Nate dropped into the shallow of the pool which was gnar. \u00a0Although Lazer could probably roll into it first try. \u00a0We all cruised around getting the feel for what we wanted to try for quite some time. \u00a0I settled on trying a run for awhile and got a couple. \u00a0Front 50 the ledge, back rock the backside of the cradle, noseslide the ledge. \u00a0Front 50 the ledge, front rock the cradle, crooks the ledge. \u00a0Pretty hyped on that one. \u00a0Chief was hitting his patented bigspin fakie on the pyramid, Nate was pole jaming combos, kids were trying treflip flyouts, it was pretty fun. \u00a0At the end I was trying back rocks on the low bar of the handrail next to a q-pipe. \u00a0Some kid came and showed me how to do it and made sure to beam me for good measure. \u00a0It was pretty funny. \u00a0Decent session. \u00a0Those kids pretty much suck though.Late night the Fremont dudes showed up. \u00a0Matt, Dan, Eric and Joe. \u00a0Brian and Lazer were here and we skated Rampy. \u00a0Lazer and Brian killed it. \u00a0Lazer even took a request – the invert. \u00a0So rad. \u00a0Everyone skated for about an hour and the sweat was flowing. \u00a0After that we watched the rough cuts of Off The Couch and stayed up late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
