Even though I know it was just me.  I went in the garage and kickflipped all the boards in my quiver to see what was easiest and what worked best, etc.  I had to assemble an 8.25 with 8&#8243; high trucks to get a full range of sizes.  And it ended up being the best feeling kickflip.  My last setup of 8.1&#8243; with 8&#8243; low trucks felt pretty bad actually.  But not as bad as the 8.5&#8243; with 8.5&#8243; trucks.
