Rob said we were gonna skate Safeway around noon. I was running early so I went to Broomfield park around 11. There was only one other person (Taylor) there when I got there. The warm up process didn’t feel all that bad. Nothing really stands out though. Carleigh and Rob arrived awhile later and it got more fun. Actually, Crisis kids Matt and James showed up too. It was fun watching Matt warm up on the ledges just going slow and messing around. Then him and James played a game of SKATE that had a lot of crazy tricks in it. Carleigh was mostly skating the pool with Marg. Rob was on the back 50s on the blue ledge quick, boardslides, crooks on the black ledge. I had a good feeling 360 flip on flat and tried to finish off the session with a manual on the blue ledge then ollie onto the downhill ledge after it. It wasn’t easy. Ugh.

Then Rob and I went to Safeway to meet Fuzz which meant warming up over again. Noseslides without ollies and 50s for everyone. Rob did a rare front 5-0 and a sick nollie front lip to fakie, Fuzz was getting into fakie nosegrind 180 out. I tic tac’d kickflip back 50’s. Fuzz suggested we try some lines with flipper then ledge or ledge trick then flipper. It started pretty slow for everyone, but we did some stuff. Fuzz’s fakie flip was so good. Rob almost had a 3 trick line with back 180 then cab and I forget the ledge trick. I took awhile to land heelflip, but managed to do better after that. Got halfcab heel then front 5-0. Got a great feeling treflip then went for kick front 50. Got really close, but bailed out at the last second. I really should have stuck with it. Fun day, love these dudes.
