skate journal: parking garage dorking after a lot of driving (jan 7, 2016 day 3)

Feeling energetic from not skating much and after a long drive to/from Denver selling boards I searched for dry and ended at the Valmont garage. There were a couple of younger skaters when I got there. They were having fun, it was cool. I had long johns on so felt a little stiff because of that, otherwise pretty good. One dude was doing long front tails. Made me want to learn them. I had a few slappy crooks, slow 50s, kickflips. I was skating ok. Those dudes left after awhile. I lost a little energy, so kind of just started dorking around trying slow treflips (never got one) and started hucking switch front crooks. I did the first one I tried. But it was even more terrible then the one I posted. But it was cool. I felt good about that at least.
